Terms of Service

Last updated June 13, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Portfolio Studio (“Portfolio Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and govern your use of our website and service (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. The Service

Portfolio Studio lets you create, publish, and export a personal portfolio site. The Service is currently provided free of charge and on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

3. Your account

You sign in with an email magic link or with Google. You are responsible for the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Use an email address you control, and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

4. Your content and license

You retain all ownership of the content and images you add to the Service (“Your Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, and display Your Content solely as needed to operate and provide the Service — for example, to render your public portfolio when you choose to publish it. This license ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except for copies retained in routine backups for a limited time, or where retention is required by law.

You are solely responsible for Your Content and represent that you have all rights necessary to submit it and that it does not infringe the rights of others.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • publish or store content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, deceptive, hateful, or harassing;
  • impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation;
  • upload malware or attempt to gain unauthorized access to, disrupt, overload, or reverse engineer the Service;
  • abuse the export, upload, or email features, or scrape or access the Service at scale by automated means;
  • violate any applicable law or the rights of others.

We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

To report content you believe infringes your rights or violates these Terms, email akverma11aug2002@gmail.comwith the content’s URL, a description of the issue, and your contact details. We will review it and may remove infringing content.

6. Public portfolios

New portfolios are private by default. When you publish a portfolio it becomes publicly accessible and may be indexed by search engines. You are responsible for what you choose to publish.

7. Our intellectual property

The Service itself — including its software, design, themes, name, logo, and other materials we provide (excluding Your Content) — is owned by Portfolio Studio and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers (such as Supabase, Vercel, Resend, and Google) and may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for third-party services or sites, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that data will not be lost. Because the Service is free and may be discontinued, we strongly recommend exporting your portfolio (a standalone HTML file) so you always keep your own copy.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Portfolio Studio and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. To the extent any liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, which for a free service is zero. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you, including mandatory consumer-protection rights. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Portfolio Studio and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or the rights of any third party.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your portfolios or account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as content licenses for backups, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to first try to resolve any dispute with us informally by contacting akverma11aug2002@gmail.com. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the courts located in India, unless applicable law in your place of residence requires otherwise.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version, and your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

15. General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a transfer of the Service. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
